Fewer pecks on the cheek, more "amore"

The MUCBOOK CLUBHAUS at Schwanthaler Straße 57 will open its doors for a single summer. The concept brings together a wide variety of players from the creative industries and the cultural and sustainability sectors with a variety of different offerings for the public. Franzi, with its lively inner courtyard, will create a place where people can meet as well as serve as a venue for series of talks and art exhibitions, thus making the Bahnhofsviertel district an attractive urban space with inspiring people, a variety of works of art, and urban green spaces.

Green collaboration

In addition to MUCBOOK and broke.today, two other companies that are involved with the issue of local sustainability are also participating in the project. Green City e. V. is using the building to demonstrate how the greening of surfaces and facades can have a lasting impact on the microclimate of a property and, when used on a larger scale, can even have a positive impact on the urban climate as a whole. The FreiRAUM-Viertel Association is not only making the furniture for the parklets planned for Landwehrstraße on site but also showcasing solutions for the partial greening of spaces and demonstrating why greening makes sense, even on a small scale.

From powerhouse to Franzi

Following the creative interim use of the powerhouse in Schwabing, a number of people will now be familiar with the artist collective broke.today. As with that powerhouse, which also made available by us, it is intended that Franzi serve as a colorful, exciting and inspiring studio where artists not only exhibit their works of art but also create them. The rough, untouched shell of the building will provide an appealing contrast to the colorful, sculpture-like pieces.
